Looking for something fun and meaningful to do during the Lunar New Year holiday? The Link is staging the Happy CNRide 2015 to coincide with the annual Bike Parade and Bike Dragon Dance on 21 February 2015. Cycling along the “Happy Cycling Track” and passing by shopping centres of The Link in Tuen Mun and Tin Shui Wai, you will indulge in the beautiful scenery while contributing to environmental protection and helping “energy-poor” households in Hong Kong by turning the miles you ride into charitable donations. The Link is also recruiting toddlers aged 2–4 for the “Little Lambs Trike Challenge” to be held on the same day. The events will be brought to a close by the Bike Dragon Dance to bring fortune and joy to the community.
Little Lambs Trike Challenge opens for recruitment
The Happy CNRide Carnival will be held at Tin Shui Shopping Centre on 21 February 2015 (3rd day of the Lunar New Year), during which customers can play booth games while gaining green knowledge, as well as watching a series of spectacular performances, including a unique mass dance show by Bacolod City MassKara, the Philippines. In addition, the “Little Lambs Trike Challenge” will feature toddlers dressed in lamb costumes, accompanied by their parents, competing in a trike challenge. Winners will be selected from all categories.
Purchase to redeem lai-see packets and lucky draw tickets
What can be better than receiving pocket money during the Lunar New Year? The Link has prepared a set of four lai see packets with the theme of “three generations living happily together” for redemption. The lai see packets can also be used as spring festival couplets. Starting from 19 January, customers who make purchases of more than HK$200 at designated shopping centres or HK$100 at designated fresh markets of The Link will be eligible to redeem one pack of lai see packets. Furthermore, with any purchase of HK$100 at designated shopping centres of The Link, customers will be eligible to redeem a lucky draw ticket with the chance to win travel vouchers totalling HK$40,000!
