Multiple Recognitions for Excellence in the Industry

The Link REIT recently garnered two awards recognising its efforts and achievement in the REIT industry. It has been named the “Property Investor of the Year” in The Asset Triple A Asset Servicing, Fund Management and Investor Awards 2015. This is the third time The Link REIT has been presented this award. The Link Management Limited, manager of The Link REIT, is also named as the “Best Asian REIT Manager” in The REIW Asia Awards for Excellence for the first time. Both awards are Asia’s defining recognitions for excellence in the industry.
“We are honoured to receive these two prestigious awards,” said George Hongchoy, Chief Executive Officer of The Link Management Limited. “In the 2014/2015 year, apart from maintaining steady growth of revenue and net property income for the ninth consecutive year, The Link REIT has taken a significant step forward by expanding its business model. We recently marked our first expansion into mainland China with the acquisition of Beijing’s EC Mall while our successful joint venture bid for developing a commercial property in Kowloon East provides us new opportunity in development. These awards recognise our efforts in providing the investment community with a rigorous and robust platform for property asset investment.”
“I would like to thank my colleagues for bringing us distinguished achievements and recognitions from various industry sectors in the past year. Winning the awards encourage us to work harder towards our goal of being a world-class real estate investor and manager.” George concluded.
The Asset Triple A Awards is Asia’s defining recognition for excellence in the industry. The Awards’ reputation is built on a stringent methodology combined with a rigorous approach to the selection of the winners from the selected industry sectors.
The REIW Asia Awards for Excellence is the first award of its kind in Asia to honour industry players for their ability to demonstrate growth, outperformance and adaptability to changing market conditions and client needs in the capital markets and real estate investment space.
